Fire and Ice

Once upon a time, spirits came from the stars in beams of light...they hit this planet infusing consciouness into matter, making life. Cycle after cycle this life grows and seeks to understand itself. A few life forms rise and seek to know more about where life came from...they see the stars and feel they are home....they seek to wake those around them to the souls within thier material form.

Many get confused in this journey of knowing. Each of us have a piece of the puzzle and if we can remember that, in a way, all of us are right...if we remember to open our minds to take in everything...we just might grow and heal the divides that happen.

When souls get divided from the rest, they slow down and succumb to apathy...the great Isa that buried Buri. It has a spirit...it is a force in this universe. Isa and Dagaz dance in the cosmos. In the end it's not about light or dark or good and evil. It's about fire and ice. Too much fire and we burn and merge with the infinate. Too much ice and we slow and become inert.

Fire is the energy of Odr...the energy of spirit. Ice is the calming of it. We can freeze and still live in our bodies for a while when our spirit is frozen, but we don't usually live too well (it is seen as a deadness in the eyes). It's easy to fall asleep in the soul, especially when we feel isolated and not loved...especially when no one believes in us or loves us. A wise soul knows how to find the hot springs of spirit in order to get the soul moving again.

We need it just right as humans. Just enough fire. Just enough ice. Dancing in the gap between the precarious balance of the two. If we are out of balance, we either burn or we fade.

If you're too cold, find some heat. If you're too warm, find some ice. It's your journey.

Don't die.
